Kampo 漢方

kampoImageKampo 漢方 in Japanese literally means “Chinese Method” or “Han Medicine “and refers to the ancient classic texts shokanron and the kinkiyoryaku (Treaties on Cold Damage and Prescriptions from the Golden Cabinet) by Zhang Zhong Jing (202BC-220AD- Han Dynasty). Formulas from these texts are precise, complete and very effective in their application. They do not have any side effects and occasionally we use these classic formulas in conjunction with acupuncture, massage and moxibustion treatments. These are an excellent addition to your acupuncture treatment, particularly if you cant attend the clinic regularly or live overseas.
